The new Carnival of the Feminists came out a couple of days ago.
A couple of people had their comments held up in moderation for a long time while I was busy with a lot of things and forgot to check the site. Apologies for that. I've set up notifications so hopefully it won't happen again. I wish I could figure out how to get the blog to recognize repeat commenters so that their comments are approved automatically. That does not work currently.
I had never witnessed the phenomenon of blog "carnivals" before I began reading feminist blogs. I'm not sure how new or old the idea might be. However, I absolutely love it, because it's an opportunity to discover interesting posts from bloggers I don't ordinarily read. There's not enough time in the day to read all the good stuff that's out there, but carnivals help provide a delicious sampling. This week I've been sampling from:
